Green Eggs and Ham is my all time favorite children's book!  I use it in my classroom to introduce healthy eating during Supermarket theme and again during Read Across America.  I bring in different foods and do a senses lesson and have the children taste new things and at the end of the unit, we cook Green Eggs and Ham together and have a party!  They are always amazed that they like green eggs and ham just like the story.  It makes the book come to life and it's such a great lesson in teaching children to try new things.
